Scope of These Terms

This website is operated by Bloc Life Inc., registered in Missouri, with a mailing address at 4019 North Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64116. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.

These terms apply to use of this website to the extent permitted by applicable law. Separate terms presented for a particular program, event or transaction may also apply. Nothing here waives rights that cannot legally be waived. Privacy practices are described separately in our Privacy Policy.

Using the Website

You may use this website for lawful personal, informational and community purposes. When using it, do not:

1. Disrupt its operation or bypass its security controls
2. Introduce malicious code
3. Impersonate another person or submit deceptive information
4. Send spam
5. Use the site to violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights

Provide accurate information when contacting us or using an enabled service. Only submit information you have authority to share. Access may be restricted to protect the service from misuse, subject to applicable law. Ordinary accessible browsing, assistive technology and legitimate security reports are not prohibited.

Programs Gyms and Events

Program descriptions explain Bloc Life’s work; they are not a guarantee of admission, class availability, funding, particular results or suitability for an individual. Contact Bloc Life or the relevant gym to confirm current schedules, eligibility, accommodations, costs and enrollment requirements before making plans.

Affiliate gyms and outside event organizers operate their own facilities and services. Their participation agreements, safety procedures and privacy notices may apply. A directory listing does not guarantee every facility’s accessibility or the accuracy of a map pin. Confirm entrances, access needs and directions with the location.

Calendar listings and event details can change. Registration, cancellation and refund conditions for any paid event must be provided by the organizer at registration; this website does not create a blanket no-refund rule.

Fitness and Research Information

Articles, videos, program descriptions and research summaries provide general information. They are not individualized medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and do not create a clinician-patient relationship. Consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional about exercise suitability, symptoms or medical concerns.

Physical activity involves risk and should be adapted with qualified support. Do not disregard medical advice or delay care because of website content. This website is not an emergency service. Research summaries may describe limited populations or preliminary findings and should not be treated as guaranteed outcomes. Testimonials reflect individual experiences.

Using the website does not enroll you in research, release liability for an in-person activity, or replace informed consent and any separate participation agreement.

Donations and the Collective

Before authorizing a gift, review:

1. The amount and currency
2. How often you will be charged
3. Any optional fees or tips
4. The payment provider’s terms

Only use a payment method you are authorized to use.

A recurring gift authorizes repeat charges only on the schedule and terms disclosed at checkout. The checkout explains how to manage or cancel future payments. Contact Bloc Life promptly about an error, unauthorized transaction or refund request. Cancellation of future gifts does not itself reverse a completed payment; any refund is subject to applicable law and the approved policy disclosed for that transaction.

Collective tiers, recognition and benefits are subject to availability. A donation is not a purchase of a guaranteed fitness outcome or program place. “Member” describes participation in the giving community and does not, by itself, confer corporate voting or ownership rights.

Tax treatment depends on applicable law, the donor’s circumstances and any goods or services received. Retain the official receipt and obtain your own tax advice. Bloc Life provides any required acknowledgment and benefit-value disclosure; these terms do not promise that every contribution is fully deductible. Any restriction on use of a gift must be expressly accepted by Bloc Life.

Contact and Newsletter Services

Contact forms and email are for ordinary inquiries and are not monitored as emergency channels. Submission does not guarantee a response time, enrollment or a contractual relationship. Do not submit payment credentials or detailed medical records through general contact fields.

Newsletter signup is optional. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the provided link or by contacting us. Inquiry responses and donation receipts may still be sent when appropriate.

SMS Program Terms

Bloc Life does not currently send marketing texts. Givebutter’s donation checkout currently combines email and text contact in one choice that may be checked by default. You can clear it before donating. Choosing it is optional and is not a condition of donating, receiving program information or purchasing anything. Providing a phone number in a contact form or making a gift alone is not SMS marketing consent. Before sending marketing texts, Bloc Life will provide the required program details and review the signup process. Messages may use automated technology where disclosed at signup.

Message and data rates may apply. The message frequency, sending number and help contact will be stated in the disclosure you see when you sign up. Do not enroll a number you do not control. Notify Bloc Life if your number changes.

Reply STOP to opt out where the sending service supports that instruction, or use the opt-out method shown in the message. For assistance, follow the HELP instruction provided with the program or contact Bloc Life. An opt-out confirmation may be sent. Delivery depends on your carrier and is not guaranteed; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Existing donor records are not, by themselves, proof of SMS permission. The sending account retains valid consent and honors revocation through supported reasonable methods. See the Privacy Policy for handling of mobile numbers and consent records.

Charitable Solicitation Disclosures

National fundraising involves registration, exemptions, renewals and required solicitation notices that differ from state to state. Federal tax-exempt status and use of Givebutter do not establish authorization to solicit in every state. Registration does not imply government endorsement.

Content and Intellectual Property

Bloc Life content, branding and design are owned by Bloc Life or used under permission or license. Third-party names, logos, images, maps, videos and quoted materials belong to their respective owners. You may link to publicly accessible pages and use material as allowed by law; other copying, modification or commercial reuse requires the relevant permission.

If you submit a story, photograph or testimonial, do not assume it will be published. Publication and use of a person’s image require a separate appropriate permission. A routine contact message does not grant us an unrestricted promotional license.

To report suspected infringement, contact Bloc Life through the contact page or the phone number below and include:

The website relies on these outside services, each under its own terms and privacy practices:

It also links to gyms, research partners, Google Maps and other outside resources.

We do not control independent websites, their content or their availability. A link does not mean Bloc Life endorses every statement or service offered there. Review the relevant terms before sharing information or completing a transaction.

Accuracy Availability and Responsibility

We aim to keep information useful and current, but errors, interruptions and outdated listings can occur. Please tell us about an issue and confirm time-sensitive details directly. To the extent permitted by law, the website and general information are provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, completeness or suitability for every purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bloc Life is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of general website information or an independent third-party service. This does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or other protected rights. These website terms are not a release for program participation or personal injury.

No mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, fixed liability cap or exclusive court venue is imposed. Missouri law governs these terms.

Changes and Contact
