Pillars
From Pillars to Lasting Lifestyle Changes
At Bloc Life, we believe that adopting guiding principles keeps us focused on our journey toward true growth and improvement.
We created three pillars: Structure, Support, and Accountability, which capture holistically what it takes to change behaviors and find a lasting community permanently.
By integrating these pillars, we can provide our members with physical guidelines that keep them on track toward their goals, develop a supportive community that cheers them on every step, and help educate members on how to be their most prominent advocate to align their actions with their true selves and higher purpose.
As athletes progress through our program, they learn to internalize these pillars and carry them forward as an internal compass for their continued growth and fulfillment.
Structure Pillar
The ability to provide physical guidelines for ourselves is crucial in maintaining a path toward growth and improvement. These guidelines can be seen as the guardrails of life that keep us on track, helping us to lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilling existence. Whether through exercise, healthy eating, or developing daily routines, these guardrails remind us to stay focused on our aspirations and strive towards becoming the highest version of ourselves.
By establishing and following these guidelines, we can experience new levels of success, satisfaction, and overall well-being.
Support Pillar
The individuals we surround ourselves with are significant sources of influence as we pursue our highest selves. When we surround ourselves with a positive community, we can feel a greater sense of belonging and purpose, leading to increased well-being and resilience.
Therefore, choosing our network carefully and cultivating meaningful relationships with those who support and inspire us to become the best version of ourselves is essential. We are not meant to do life alone.
Accountability Pillar
Accountability extends beyond our actions and into our thoughts and beliefs. It involves developing mental guidelines that align with our true selves rather than our egos. For many individuals, especially those in the veteran and first responder community, there is a sense of serving a higher purpose that extends beyond their desires. When we think, talk, and act in alignment with this higher purpose, we are accountable to our true selves and our values. However, deviating from this path can make us confused, frustrated, and lost.
It is important to hold ourselves accountable to our beliefs and values and to continually work towards aligning our thoughts and actions with our true purpose in life. We can live out our purpose through the process of self-reflection and self-improvement.
